      | Vit Kristan  was born  in Pelhřimov /Czech republic. Studied jazz and classical  piano at the "Conservatory of Jaroslav Ježek" / Prague in the class of Irina  Kondratěnko, Ondřej Kabrna and Jiří Růžička. From 2007 - 2010 he studied at the "Jazz Academy" in Katowice with Wojciech Niedziela and Ed Partyka. Studies at the "Jazz Academy" / Odense (Denmark). Collaboration with Jan Přibyl Quintet (CZ), Tomáš  Hobzek Quartet (CZ), Jaroslav Bothur Kvartet (Poland), Big band of Jazz Academy  in Katowice, Hugo Rasmussen (DK), Anders Provis (DK), Richard Anderson (DK),  David Doruzka (CZ), Bo Stief (DK), Jaromir Honzak (CZ). He won the second  award at the jazz competiton "Jazz nad Odra" in 2009.
